18 U.S.C. § 2257 record-keeping statement
Creators produce the content on Avatique. Everyone who appears in it is a verified, consenting adult, and the records that prove it are kept.
1. Who produces the content
- Avatique is a hosting platform. The creators who upload content are its producers. Avatique is not a primary or secondary producer of any visual depiction on the site within the meaning of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75.
2. What we require
- Every creator passes government ID, liveness and face-match verification before they can publish or earn, and must be at least 18 years old.
- Every other person who appears in sexually explicit content is verified the same way and approves the post before it goes live. Creators certify, for every post, that everyone shown is a verified, consenting adult with a signed release.
- Verification results, releases and the identity of each performer are kept as records and made available to authorities on lawful request.
3. Custodian of records
- Records are maintained by the Avatique Custodian of Records. The custodian's name and business address will be published here before launch, as the regulation requires.
