Making money with an AI character: rules, disclosure and setup

You can run a paid page for an AI character on Avatique as long as a verified person runs it, the character doesn't depict or resemble a real person, and it never looks under 18. AI content sits in the same categories as everything else. Assistants that message fans automatically are marked as AI, and real people's likenesses need their own verification and a signed licence.

Disclosure
- Mark AI-made or AI-edited files when you upload them. The mark and any C2PA provenance are kept for moderation and audits.
- In the EU, pages with AI content carry one line in their About section (EU AI Act, article 50).
- Messages sent automatically by an assistant are marked AI in the chat, as the EU and California require.
Setting up
- Verify yourself once: the same verification covers every page you run.
- Open a new page, choose the AI character type and describe the character.
- Plan a posting rhythm you can sustain, as you would for any page.
- Connect a chatbot (any OpenAI-compatible API or a signed webhook) if you want help with replies; you stay responsible for what it sends.

Are AI pages labelled?
We don't add AI badges to posts or pages. Uploads carry an internal AI mark, EU pages carry a one-line disclosure, and automatic assistant messages are marked.
Can an AI character chat with fans?
Yes, through a connected assistant. It must never claim to be human when asked, never arrange meetings or outside payments, and its replies are screened like every message.
