Why every creator is ID-verified, and what that means for you
By the Avatique team · Updated
Every creator on Avatique passes a government ID, live selfie and face-match check before they can post or earn, and so does everyone else who appears in their content. Every upload is checked against known-abuse hash lists and a content classifier before anyone sees it, and reports of non-consensual content or anyone under 18 hide the content immediately.
How verification works
- The creator photographs a government ID.
- They take a live selfie; a liveness check confirms it's a real person, not a photo.
- The face is matched to the ID and the document's data is checked.
- Anyone else in their content goes through the same check and approves the post before it goes live.
What happens to every upload
- Matched against known child-abuse material hash lists.
- Scored by a content classifier; anything uncertain goes to a person.
- A file without a clean scan is never shown.
Reporting and takedowns
Anyone can report content without an account. Reports of non-consensual content or anyone under 18 hide the content at once. Creators get free leak takedowns, and copyright owners can file DMCA notices.
How ID data is protected
ID images are encrypted per file in a separate private store and deleted on a fixed schedule. See the biometric data notice and security page.
